Getting a User Account
Contact your tenant administrator or the SRE-A team to get an account provisioned for your environment.
VPN Connection (NetBird)
Requirements
VPN tunnel connection to Global Infra preprod and prod is only allowed using PCI-DSS workstations (Linux or Windows PAW laptop, or an AWS Workspace). The device must be certified and registered in UsrVPN.
The VPN client solution is NetBird:
- It is pre-installed on PAWs and Amazon Workspaces
- For sandbox access, you can install it on your DWS or personal device
How to Connect
- For preprod/prod: use an Amazon Workspace or a PAW with NetBird
- For sandbox: you can use your DWS or personal device with NetBird installed
When you start NetBird, the daemon becomes a DNS resolver for sb.eu.ginfra.net and sb.au.ginfra.net. On Linux, it is important to use systemd-resolved.
