• Remote Repository — Represents a remote repository — a proxy in front of a third-party upstream (public registry, vendor mirror, …). When upstream authentication is needed, prefer pointing vault_secret_id at a secret asset that carries the username / password entries instead of inlining them as plain attributes.

Represents a remote repository — a proxy in front of a third-party upstream (public registry, vendor mirror, …). When upstream authentication is needed, prefer pointing vault_secret_id at a secret asset that carries the username / password entries instead of inlining them as plain attributes.

Schema

The following properties describe a Remote Repository:

Property	Type	Description
assumed_offline_period_seconds	integer	Window after which the upstream is considered offline (default 300).
block_mismatching_mime_types	boolean	Reject upstream responses whose MIME type doesn't match the expected format.
bypass_head_requests	boolean	Skip HEAD requests against the upstream (workaround for non-compliant proxies).
description	string	Free-form description of the repository.
disable_proxy	boolean	When true, force the remote to bypass any proxy even if proxy is set.
docker_options	object	Docker-specific options. Ignored when package_type != docker.
excludes_pattern	string	Artefact exclude pattern. Defaults to empty.
hard_fail	boolean	When true, a 5xx from the upstream is propagated as a hard failure.
includes_pattern	string	Artefact include pattern. Defaults to **/* when omitted.
key Computed	string	Fully qualified repository key. Computed at create time.
list_remote_folder_items	boolean	Allow browsing of upstream folders. Anti-DoS recommendation: keep false.
maven_options	object	Maven/Gradle-specific options. Ignored when package_type is neither maven nor gradle.
missed_retrieval_cache_period_seconds	integer	Negative-result cache TTL in seconds (default 1800).
name Required	string	Short repository name (e.g. `adoptium`, `centos`, `pypi-public`). Examples:adoptium
offline	boolean	When true, the remote serves only its cache (no upstream fetch).
package_type Required	string	Package type stored in this repository (rpm, npm, docker, maven, ...).
password	string	Password used to authenticate against the upstream URL.
proxy	string	Registered outbound proxy key (e.g. proxy-infra) to use for upstream calls.
repo_layout_ref	string	Repository layout reference. Auto-discovered from package_type when omitted.
retrieval_cache_period_seconds	integer	Metadata TTL in seconds (default 7200).
rpm_options	object	RPM-specific options. Ignored when package_type != rpm.
scope Required	string	Scope tag appended to the key (dev / ci / release).
socket_timeout_millis	integer	Connection timeout in milliseconds (default 15000).
store_artifacts_locally	boolean	When true, fetched artefacts are cached locally (default true).
synchronize_properties	boolean	Propagate repository properties to the upstream when caching.
url Required	string	Upstream URL proxied by this remote repository (e.g. https://repo1.maven.org/maven2). Examples:https://repo1.maven.org/maven2
username	string	Username used to authenticate against the upstream URL.
vault_secret_id	string	Optional secret asset id whose `username` / `password` entries are read at create time and applied to this remote. Takes precedence over the inline username/password fields when both are set.
